We hold regular business meetings every 1st and 3rd Monday evening at 7pm as Hellaby Hall Hotel, Old Hellaby Lane, Hellaby, S66 8EX

Facts about Lions Internationally

Founding LionsFrom their origins in the United States in 1917 Lions Clubs have grown to be the largest voluntary service clubs organisation in the world. There are now almost 1.5 million members belonging to over 40,000 Lions Clubs in over 180 countries.

The UK and Ireland has nearly 1,000 clubs with around 21,000 members.

Fellowship both local and worldwide is a central belief of clubs. Members come from all walks of life, united in a common aim of helping those less fortunate than themselves.

Lions Clubs concentrate most of their activities meeting local needs, but have also provided help for international humanitarian causes, and have many health and educational projects in the third world.
