Lions help Carol to feel safe again

Maltby and Rother Valley Lions install a security light for Carol GottWhat better way to spend the money collected from our Christmas sleighs than on members of the local community who donated in the first place. Maltby Rother Valley Lions have been helping Carol Gott, who was left feeling insecure after getting two windows smashed in her home and being hit on the head, leaving her with a nasty gash, two black eyes and severe bruising.

Well known in her community having worked at Melton Court Nursing Home for 20 years and then as a dinner lady at Maltby Manor Primary School for another 18, we wanted to help this wonderful lady to feel safe again. Lions helped to install two security lights to go alongside her CCTV and visited Carol in her home.
