Typical Fundraising Activities

Regular Fundraising Activities:

Disabled Sports Day, Doncaster

Over the years neighbouring Lions Clubs have worked together to make this into one of the main events of our year attracting competitors from a wide area. The rules are simple: whether it be a group from one specific organisation or individual families, everyone is welcome to take part. The only stipulation is that anyone competing must have either a mental or physical impairment, however carers, family and friends are also welcome to come along and enjoy the day with them. Every competitor gets a medal to take home and there is a trophy for the winner of each game. Maltby (Rothervalley) Lions are proud to provide the catering for this event and are looking forward to doing so again in the future.

Carol Concert

Lions at Christmas

Santa’s Sleigh – Over the Christmas period up to and including Christmas Eve, we will be out and about with Santa on his sleigh. Please contact us in the Autumn if you want to be one of Santa’s little helpers. Details of routes are usually published in early November. Thanks to the generosity of the public our two sleighs raised a magnificent £18,000 our best year ever, to help and support our local community. If you are interested in joining us and helping members of your local community please contact us.
