Pie n peas and some more great fundraising

Well we celebrated some brave sky divers tonight at our Lions Pie n pea night, alongside a raffle and a quiz.

Lewis completed a sky dive in memory of his father, our late President David Parker, raising a whopping £900 for the Lions.

Also with us was Rebecca Blackwell who raised a fantastic £700 for Help for Heroes in memory of her grandfather Allan Thompson. Well done to the both of them!

It was a fun filled night for us all and an opportunity for our second mascot Dave the Lion to make his first outing! Dave has been made in memory of our late President David Parker and will be joining Alfie on his adventures.

Lions Casino helps raise funds for Taylor

It was a privilege to support the Charity Casino to help raise funds for Taylor. A fabulous night was had by all when Maltby (Rother Valley) Lions Club took their Casino to The Station pub, Kiveton Park to help raise funds for Taylor’s Journey. Taylor is such a brave, beautiful little girl and her family are remarkable. Maltby (Rother Valley) Lions are proud to support her cause.

Thankyou to each and everyone of you who helped to raise the incredible amount we did on the night. ‘Thankyou’ is never enough , but I am so grateful for the support you have given for my beautiful Taylor xxx Suzanne

Everyone seemed to have a wonderful time, including ourselves, the Lions. We also had help from the British Legion Maltby Branch. A cracking £3,500.00 was raised on the night.

If you are interested in having a similar event, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
