Natalie Magee, from Aston Academy, is presented with the Student of the Year Award by Lion Andrew. Maltby (Rother Valley) Lions are proud to sponsor the Student of the Year Award and congratulate this achievement. We wish Natalie the best of luck for the future.
Over the years neighbouring Lions Clubs have worked together to make this into one of the main events of our year attracting competitors from a wide area. The rules are simple: whether it be a group from one specific organisation or individual families, everyone is welcome to take part. The only stipulation is that anyone competing must have either a mental or physical impairment, however carers, family and friends are also welcome to come along and enjoy the day with them. Every competitor gets a medal to take home and there is a trophy for the winner of each game. Maltby (Rother valley) Lions are proud to provide the catering for this event.
Tonight (5/4/2017) many members of Maltby Rother Valley lions went to watch the junior production of Bugsy Malone being performed by the Maltby Minors at the Wesley Centre.
Maltby(Rother Valley) lions have contributed to this show by purchasing their new state of the art lighting equipment.
This would not have been possible had it not been for the many generous donations we get all year round. And for this we say “Thank You, we would not be able to do amazing things for the community without your donations”

Josh being sworn in as a Lion in February 2017. Welcome Josh and happy 18th birthday from all your Lion friends.
Josh is very enthusiastic and a real credit to his generation. He is also a very capable individual bringing some well needed young blood into our organisation. He will go far… watch out President John, he has his eye on your job!
Our president, John Rathbone, is presented with a pennant from our District Governor, David McDowell when he attended our Lions meeting, followed by pie and peas, at The Duke of Leeds, Wales, on Monday night.
