Happy 100th Birthday Captain Tom Moore
Happy 100th Birthday Captain Tom Moore from Maltby Rother Valley Lions Club. He is an inspiration! What an achievement, the money he has raised will go a long way to help our wonderful NHS fight this dreadful virus.

Our club are helping with donations to various groups, helping the elderly and vulnerable in our community by shopping etc. and also we have a member making scrubs for hospitals. He is an example and inspiration to us all. A birthday card has been sent to him from our club to show our thanks and respect to this wonderful man.

If you would like to make a donation to Captain Tom, please visit his: Just Giving Donations page >

Aston Carnival 2019

Members of Maltby and Rother Valley Lions were happy to support Aston Carnival yesterday. A great day was had by all and we had several visitors to our Tombola stall and new Wheel of Fortune, made by our President Dave Parker. Cllr Jenny Andrews, Lord Mayor of Rotherham and Cllr Jenny Mallinder, Lady Mayoress paid us a visit along with a member of Dinnington Brass Band and Zubaidah Belly Dancers and of course everyone who donated to MRVL at our stall and at our Wheel of Fortune. Thank you for your continued support. Lion Pat distributed numerous “Message in a bottles” which we are happy to supply to the community for assistance in emergencies.
